Traveling to London is always fun and for a lot of people, it is a great way to get away from all the stresses of daily life. However, traveling with kids can be a challenge because they cannot do some of the things you would normally do when you go to a place like London. Since this is the case, you should know more about the best kid-friendly attractions in London, England. I know this information may seem odd, but when you are vacationing with the entire family knowing the kid attractions can easily be a lifesaver and definitely something you are going to enjoy. If nothing else than getting a chance to breathe and enjoy your family, this is a great way to see a part of London you may have overlooked if you came to town without the kiddos in tow. With that being the case, let us jump straight into the rankings we have for the best kid-friendly attractions in London.
Legoland
Legoland is part of the Windsor Resort in Windsor, but it is definitely a place you will want to go to. The place has a theme park that is meant for kids and designed with the kids in mind. However, the adults are going to find something enjoyable to do when they are taking a trip to the place as well. The resort and theme park has plenty of rides for your kids to enjoy, but it also has some great interactive things for the kids to do as well. What else would you expect for a place with the Lego brand on it? Honestly, this is one of the attractions my kids love to go to and if we do not make it to Legoland when we are in London I tend to have to make a return trip back to London to go and see the place after just a short time period.
Warwick Castle
Warwick Castle has seen quite a bit of battles in its time and now it is one of those places that is going to make it easier for you to have a great vacation and trip into the older castles that you never imagined you would get a chance to tour. When you go to Warwick Castle you will notice this attraction offers a variety of tours for you to enjoy and plenty of beautiful grounds for you to explore. One of the tours the adults may find interesting and even the kids at times, is the history tours. These tours will take you on the hisotry lessons so you can see how the castle withstood all the different battles that were fought in the castle and how it was protected. If you want to stay in the castle, you will notice you have an opportunity to book a room at the place to guarantee you have a lovely place to stay at night. What else is great, but not recommended for all the kids is going to be the dungeon tour, which allows you to go into the dungeon area of Warwick Castle and see how the prisoners would have been treated.

Warner Brothers Studio Tour
Kids all over the world tend to love Harry Potter. That is because he has managed to be one of the best movies of all time. However, when you are looking at this location you will notice this is the studio that will make it easier for you to have a chance to walk in the footsteps of Harry Potter and learn more about the location and all that is going on with the movie. When you take this studio tour it will be very easy for you to have a connection to the young wizard and know he is going to have the great treat you would want to have and this makes it easier for you to have a great trip because you can enjoy the movie time and time again, but also know by taking the studio tour you were in the exact spot that Harry stood when he got information and was told about certain things he never would have thought he would be able to do in the future.
The Natural History Museum
The London Natural History Museum is a free place for you to go and visit. However, it is a place that you are going to love because it is going to make it quite a bit easier for you to enjoy the museum and have a chance to learn about everything that is going on with the beautiful history of the place. What else is the exhibits will have some temporary places on display, these can cost some extra money at times, but it is definitely worth the cost of paying the extra money to get the chance to explore these exhibits. If you want to get the most out of your trip you will want to make sure you download the app because it is going to allow you to have a great visit to the museum and know it is going to make it easier for you to have a chance to see everything you want to see and do.
Tower Of London
Located on the North Banks of the River Thames you will find Tower of London. This is a beautiful place that has a lot of history to it and it is definitely going to be a place you will want to go and visit to see the history of what was considered one of the best fortresses that were present in the Middle Ages. What else is great about this location is the fact that it did serve as a prison as well and this was going to be something the Tower of London would be famous for. With the history of this location it is very important for you to know this was one of the best places to visit and after the Blitz the damage was repaired and this made it quite a bit easier for the Tower to be standing and not be destroyed. What else is great after the war it was reopened to the public and this has made it one of the best attractions for tourist of all ages when you are in London.
Royal Air Force Museum
The RAF Museum is located in an older aerodome, but rather than having to build completely new buildings you will notice the museum has managed to have some of the beautiful grounds repurposed as all of the hangers have been transformed into the beautiful displays and house the aircraft that are on display. With this being the case the kids and adults will love the fact they have a chance to walk through and see all the different aircraft that are on display. Some of these will include the Lancaster bombers that helped to win the war, but others are going to be some of the German aircraft that were part of the Luftwaffe when they were trying to make bombing raids all over England only to see the drive they were putting on not being as big of a success as the German Air Force would have liked. All I have to say is the steps through history in the Battle of Britain are well worth taking the tour here and then you can understand why we do not speak German as our official language.
Portsmouth Historic Dockyard
The Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is a great place and definitely one you will like to go and visit because it is going to be a beautiful place for you to enjoy and definitely a place for the entire family. The museum that is in the dockyard is definitely a must see location as it is going to make it easier for you to have a great vacation and know you are going to enjoy your holiday even more than what you thought. What else you will enjoy about the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is the fact it is going to have the HMS Victory stationed in the location as well. This makes it easier for you to see the beautiful ships that were full of history to help guide the nation to some of the most powerful victories on the ocean. If you are not one for history seeing the harbor is still one of the three operational ports for the Royal Navy.
How To Decide Where To Go?
The decision is going to be very hard to make as all of these attractions are great and definitely something you will want to consider going and seeing. The best thing is to make sure you have enough time to see them all, but I know traveling with kids is nearly impossible to have a schedule on where you go. However, no matter what depending on the age of your kids will determine where you go, but one aspect that kids of all ages love to go and see is Legoland, which I highly recommend because I know my own kids like going to see this part of London and anytime we are in town, all I hear about is how much they would like to have a chance to go back and see Legoland. No matter what these are the must-see attractions that I have found when you are traveling to London and plan on bringing the family with you.
