Perth is one of those cities in Australia that you may not really think about going to visit because you are constantly hearing about Sydney and how beautiful it is, but if you know about the Perth attractions you will notice this city is very beautiful in its own right. By knowing about these attractions you are going to notice that traveling to Perth is going to be quite a bit easier than what you imagined and has a lot for families to do. I know that for myself growing up and traveling with my parents was a great adventure and definitely something that I want to do with my own kids in the future. With that being said, I decided to share what to do in Perth for families, which will make it easier for you to find out what you can do and have a great vacation or holiday when you are traveling.

How Did I Narrow Down My List Of Perth Attractions

This is where the challenge came in as I had to think about the attractions that my parents would take me to and why we would go here. This was definitely something that I really wanted to do because my parents always made sure we had the best things to do and see. So I figured I would try to transport myself back to more of what I wanted to see as a kid and what I enjoyed. Doing this, made it easier for me to get a great list compiled here and I will admit I had to narrow down the list as it was rather long when I first started writing this list. Without any further ado I am going to present the list of attractions that I love in Perth for families.

5. Caversham Wildlife Park

When you look at Caversham Wildlife Park you will be simply amazed with the place and when you find out it is privately owned you will be even more shocked. You are going to fall in love with this place as it allows you to see some of the native Austrailian animals in the natural habitat they are supposed to be in. What else is great about this location is it allows you to explore the animals in an up-close encounter and this makes it easier for you to have a great trip that you will really love, because how often do you get to see the animals up close?

4. Adventure World

Adventure World is a great theme park in Perth, which is going to mean it is going to be a little bit of the seasonal type of location. Since this is the case, you will want to make sure you know about the fact this is a great place to go if you are in Perth when it is open. The place has plenty for you to do and since it is a theme park it is a place the entire family is going to love. What is really nice is the Adventure World tickets cost is not going to break the bank in most cases and this means you can finally have a good time at a theme park and have enough money left over for you to do some of the other things that you would want to do in Perth with your family.

3. Perth Zoo

When you are looking at the Perth Zoo you will find the place is going to be a great place for you to check out. Yes, it is a lot smaller than the Caversham Wildlife Park it will have more animals and be set up like a more traditional zoo. This set up is going to allow you to have a great time in the zoo and be able to led around the world with the animals that you are able to see and check out. The zoo only covers a total of 41 acres and it is going to make it easier for you to find the way around the zoo. What is really nice is the Perth Zoo is the place has close to 1300 animals in it and it has a large and extensive collection of plants in the botanical gardens you are going to want to check out.

2. WA Shipwrecks Museum

Are you looking to explore a place that has a lot going for it and will make it easier for you to have a great time exploring the history and the artifacts from shipwrecks? If you do then you will want to make sure you check this place out. This is seen as the foremost expert center for the shipwrecks in the Southern Hemisphere, not just Australia, but all of the Southern Hemisphere. This place has artifacts you may have never thought about looking at before, but you will also find that this is a place that has documents of the shipwrecks as well. So you will be able to have a great trip you are going to actually like and learn quite a bit from and know your trip is going to be second to none when you trying to learn about shipwrecks.

1. Scitech Discovery Centre

Are you looking for an educational centre that is going to be great for all age range of family members? If you are then you will want to make sure you check out Scitech. This is a place that is going to really be amazing and definitely will help you in getting to have a fun time. What is even better is the location is one you are going to fall in love with because of the interaction that is present in the displays and exhibits that you can check out. This makes this one of the best places for you to go and visit. What is even better is the fact this place has exhibits that are meant for anyone of any age and this even includes the toddlers who will find the stimulation to the mind to simply amazing and can even start to develop some of the pathways and connections in their mind they need to start to develop at a younger age.
