Discover The Must See Museums In Vancouver
Planning a vacation often means looking at what you can do at any place you are planning on going to. The problem you may have is not knowing about the places to go and see, but also not learning about the locations until you have arrived in the region, this is very true for a city like Vancouver that is one of those hidden gems of a city. With this being the case you will want to make sure you know about the different museums you need to go and see, but also why you should go and visit these museums. Since this is the case we are going to have a list of the must see Vancouver museums and then you can start to plan out your vacation to Vancouver with the museums you have to visit, but with our Vancouver restaurants list as well know exactly where you are going to eat, but throw in the hotels we ranked for families traveling to Vancouver and it is very easy to find the best trip to use when you are going to Vancouver.
How Did We Narrow Down Our List?
When we started off on this we actually thought it would be very easy to narrow down the list. However, once we started the list we realized it was going to be very difficult to narrow down and it was going to be nearly impossible at times because some of the museums are so great that we had to figure out where to put them in our list. What else made this difficult was the fact the typical vacation will only last a week, if that. So it is going to be very difficult for us to narrow down the list. With this being said, we have decided it was time for us to narrow down our list to the ones that we liked the most and that would help out in getting the vacation planned out that you want to have with the trip in Vancouver, so this is our favorites.
Museum Of Anthropology
This is a museum that will make you think about the different crime shows you seen where they have the bone expert out. The museum, though, is completely different than the crime shows because this is a great place that is going to showcase the real life adventures of what happens. However, this is a museum that is going to showcase more than just the crime shows because not everyone that goes into the career field of anthropology is going to go into forensic anthropology.
The museum has multiple cultural displays you will like and know that it is going to make it easier for you to have a great time exploring all of the different cultures that are present. What is really great is the fame the Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver has with regards to the first nation tribes that were present in the Pacific Northwest and how this has made a change in the region.

Vancouver Maritime Museum
When you look at the Vancouver Maritime Museum you may think that it is not going to make that big of an impact on what you are doing and planning to do. However, this is a location you are going to enjoy because it is going to go and preserve the history of the maritime industry that is in Vancouver and the Canadian Arctic region. This is definitely something you are going to like because it will make it easier for you to learn about this history and see how it has made an impact. What else is nice is the older exhibits will make it easier for you to see the way the seafaring ways have changed over time and see the cruise ship you may be getting ready to board is actually a great way to travel and very safe as well.

Science World Vancouver
We would be completely lost and amiss if we did not mention Science World. This is a place that is stocked full of the chance to learn a lot and see quite a bit as well. What is great is the Science World location is not run by a major company, but instead is run by a non-profit so you will get more of a true slant on science than a slant that was given by the companies running the science centers. What else is nice is the fact you are going to have a chance to see some of the cutting edge changes that are being made in science each and every day. So this makes it quite a bit easier for you to have a great vacation and be able to learn as well. What is even better if you live in British Columbia and are able to make it to Vancouver on a regular basis, for example a BC Lions game, you may find to make a day out of it and go to the Science World before the game and then head home to have a complete day. Unfortunately, we are disappointed to say that in all of our research we could not find an updated listing for the Facebook page that is updated on a regular basis nor could we find a Twitter account.
BC Sports Hall Of Fame
If you are a sports fan and want to learn more about the region and the sports history you have to visit the BC Sports Hall of Fame. This is not a real museum like you would find in some cities with the sports hall of fame, but it is a place that is going to allow you to explore all the different sports that are present in the city and the region. So you will love the fact this is a museum quality place for you to go and visit and know you will be able to explore all the history of the sports and see just how they have had an impact on the city and the region as a whole. Remember without sports you will always have a segmented population that is unsure who they should be cheering on to make themselves look good or make the team they are supporting look good, just like at the Lions, they have a great fan base, but it is one that no matter the differences they have can come together for the sports they love.

Is This All The Museums In Vancouver?
No, this is not a comprehensive list. If we did that we can tell you this list would easily be a three thousand word post if not longer! Our editors have really been getting on us about those longer posts because they tend to not do as well for you readers because they are so long. However, if the editors will let me I do plan on doing a more in depth review of each of the museums you have seen here and the list that we have below. Overall, Vancouver is definitely a city you will fall in love with and knowing about some of the best museums in the city will make your trip a lot easier.
