• The building is a very versatile location that you are going to love. That is because you will find that you are going to have concerts, beautiful halls, and even a wedding location. Not to mention if you want to attend a Protestant church service it will be easier for you to have a good time because each Sunday the church is used for the purpose it actually was built for and that is a house of worship.
• You will have the chance to go here and have some guided tours. By taking these tours it will be easier for you to have a great time and know that it will make it easier for you to have a great vacation. At the same time, you do need to make sure you book the tours in advance to help you out in getting to have a great trip. If you do not do this, you could have some problems in getting the trip or the tour you want to take because you are limited in the size of the tour groups, but also will find that it is going to require you to have some booking to make sure a tour guide is available.
• Depending on what you are looking for you may find the Martini Tower to be a great place to go as well. This tower is going to be a separate thing from the church and will often mean you are going to need to have a separate ticket. However, if you get a chance to go to the top of the tower you will not be disappointed by the way the place looks because it is such a great place to see the town from a very unique perspective.

What I Like About This Location

I like the history associated with this location. While a lot of churches in Europe have a lot of history, you need to realize this is a place that has been around for quite a while. Since it has been around for such a long time period you will love the fact this is a place that will make it easier for you to have a history lesson on the location. Without this, you could have some problems in getting to learn about the history of the church or the location. What else is great about this place is the fact this is going to have plenty of education about the history and if you take one of the guided tours you have a chance to learn about all of this history.

What I Dislike About This Location

Well, I have to say I found this out more from the website than anything else and that is the fact the tower tour, which is a big highlight is ran by the city. It is not run by the church. So if you are planning on taking a tour here you will need to set this up with a different location and need to realize this is going to cost a different price than what you would expect to pay.

My Final Thoughts About This Location

Okay, well, I have to say this is a church and it is a great church. The history you can learn here is definitely going to be worth going to check out Martinikerk. However, at the same time the tours will not take all day and this will leave you plenty of time to go and have a great time. You just have to make sure you have other things to do during the day or you could have some problems figuring out what to do the rest of the day. Overall, though, if you are looking for a great Groningen attraction, I will say Martinikerk is a place that is a good place to start.
