The pool will provide you with plenty for your kids to do and enjoy because they can start to cool off after a day of walking. The water park aspect is one that I really like more than the casino because it is included in the price of the hotel room, but also you do not run the risk of losing thousands of dollars on the tables. As a downside, though, this is a location that is not located in the middle of town and can mean taking a taxi or driving into the city proper if you want to explore the downtown area of Calgary.

When you are looking at Hotel Elan you will find that it is more of a boutique style of hotel. However, it is going to provide you with plenty of things to do and enjoy. The hotel is actually located within walking distance of the famous shopping and entertainment district of Calgary. So you will have a chance to go out and explore the city just by walking. The best part is the shops are generally locally owned and they are going to have some of the different items you may not see at some of the other places in town. Some of the major attractions are within a half hour walk of the hotel, but if you want to go down to see some of the other locations you will notice that you will have to get a car because walking about five to six miles could be a long walk because that is each way.
