Discover The Asheville Pinball Museum – Traveling North Carolina

Asheville Pinball Museum - North Carolina TravelA great place for people to go to and enjoy, that they may have never thought about before, on their Asheville vacation is the Asheville Pinball Museum. Granted, it is definitely overshadowed by some of the major attractions in the area like the Biltmore Estates and the very obvious and beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, some people will want to find something to do that is indoors the entire time if the weather is disagreeable. Well, I decided that it was time to share what I thought of the Asheville Pinball Museum in my review of the location here. Then you can know if this museum is the best place for you to check out in Asheville or not.

Location Of The Asheville Pinball Museum

While Asheville is a fairly small city, it can be hard to find your way around at times. That being said, I am putting down the address of the Asheville Pinball Museum here and that should help you in getting the location found and know the address if you decide to plug it into Google or Apple Maps.

What I Liked With The Asheville Pinball Museum

The Games Are Playable

With the Asheville Pinball Museum, you may notice that a large number of the games in the museum are playable. This is completely different than most of the museums that you would check out. That really makes the games here some of the best that you could find as it makes the museum very unique in how interactive all the games and exhibits are.

Quite A Few Classic Games To Enjoy

Normally, I would never think about the games being classic and being the games that you could play. This really helps to bring home the memories that you may have had, like most adults now, have of playing the games at the older video arcades located inside of the mall. I mean, literally this museum allows you to go back in time and start to enjoy our childhood more than what you imagined. Not only can you start to reflect on the time you had at the video game arcade, but it makes it easier for you to get to enjoy seeing your kids starting to play the games and enjoy them as well.

Great Activities For People Of All Ages

While you may not think about video games being for everyone, the Asheville Pinball Museum really takes and elevates the notion that people are going to hate. That is the fact that the museum has games that are meant for people of all ages. This makes it easier for you to expose your kids to the games that you played and know they are going to enjoy and not be stuck on their cell phones the entire time.

What I Did Not Care For In The Asheville Pinball Museum

The Cost May Seem High To Some People

Okay, the cost may seem a little bit high to people, but you do get to play the games. What I found online is the price is actually coming in at 15 dollars for adults and that counts as anyone over the age of 10. The children who are under the age of 10 from what I have found are 12 dollars. So I could see the cost for the children seeming like it would be high to a lot of people, but the amount of fun the kids get while playing makes the price worth the cost of admission.

What Other People Are Saying

Now, one reviewer goes bychiefdcates wrote this about the museum on TripAdvisor, “fun space to experience classic pinball and arcade games”. So obviously as I have brought up several times is the location is one that has plenty of the older classic games you are going to like.

David T, another reviewer from TripAdvisor mentioned this, “a good assortment of antiquated pin ball machines in fairly good condition”.  With that being the case, this means you will finally be able to get to play plenty of different games and enjoy the games without tiring of playing the same game all the time.

My Final Thoughts On The Asheville Pinball Museum

Okay, I will be one of the first to admit that I do like the Asheville Pinball Museum, but like some of the other people agree the price may seem steep at times. However, if you are looking for something to do and want to avoid going to Biltmore or if the weather is keeping you in from the Blue Ridge Parkway and waterfalls, then you cannot really go wrong here. Overall, the Asheville Pinball Museum is a good attraction to check out in Asheville, but a great way to get a break from the mountains.
